- "Hello boys and girls! Did I scare you?"
- ―B. F. Bugleberry appears
Barry Fernard Bugleberry, often referred to as simply B. F. Bugleberry, is a mysterious man with a spooky aura who enjoys telling scary stories, pottery, and wrestling occasionally. He was at first employed by Jerma via Craigslist to just tell scary stories. Recently however, he was employed by Jerma to create new characters in the Jermaverse.[1]
History[]
sleep with the lights on.[]
B. F. Bugleberry first appeared on Jerma's stream in 2018 for some spooky fun in the segment "Tales from the Bugleberry"[2]. He read some scary stories, but his voice was so low that it was difficult to understand what he was even saying, and the stories he read were kinda whatever anyways. Since this stream, he probably was one of the most widely-disliked Jermaverse characters for a long time, ultimately resulting in being nominated for Worst new character[3] at the JermAwards 2018. Jerma highlighted that he was sure Bugleberry would win and would have invited him to host the category in that case. But since Bugleberry 'lost' to GrillMasterXBBQ, this guest appearance did not happen.[4] Bugleberry's very first stream was also nominated for Worst stream of the year at the same awards, but 'lost' again to the Muryphy's law & Mario Tennis-stream.[5]
Bugleberry Teaches You A Lesson[]

Bugleberry at his pottery wheel.
B. F. Bugleberry made an unexpected return for Halloween 2019, where a portion of the stream involved Bugleberry making an urn out of clay on a potter's wheel. He claimed that he saw everyone's feedback on LinkedIn and wanted to do better. Instead of his voice being too deep this time though, his thick Reverbian accent came out and it was even more difficult to understand him than before. He did a better job with the urn than anyone expected, but he was interrupted by Shannon Sharon to let him know that his ward Chrome Face was eating raw hamburger meat backstage. Bugleberry was somehow responsible for Chrome Face, so he had to stop the segment to go check on him. Bugleberry's performance further disgraced him with the audience, who crowned his pottery course the Worst Joke Taking 5+ Minutes to Set Up at the JermAwards 2019. This marked two years in a row that streams in which Bugleberry made an appearance were nominated for negative categories.
Vegas Stakes (Tiny Toons BUTTON MASHER)[]
B. F. Bugleberry has been spotted gambling in Las Vegas numerous times. He has demonstrated an unnatural knack for winning on slot machines, and has made a profit of thousands of dollars through playing them. Bugleberry attributes his good luck to his physical proximity to Mr. Green, and has given Green large portions of his winnings as an act of thankfulness and good will. Notably, by the time of these Las Vegas spottings he has become much easier to understand, losing both his low-pitched voice and Reverbian accent.
Freddy's After Thanksgiving VR Special[]
In Halloween 2020, Jerma claimed that Bugleberry called and told him he wasn't doing Halloween that year. Bugleberry was apparently working on several ham and turkey recipes in an attempt to avoid being a one-trick pony. If this claim is to be believed, then Bugleberry may have some exciting developments in the future.
Bugleberry's Cauldron[]

Bugleberry's hot tub stream
As part of his latest round of creations, Bugleberry used a new potion to dampen the effects of his Reverbian accent, and his voice was thus easily understandable for the very first time. Using a cauldron, Bugleberry mixed various ingredients to create a couple new characters for Jerma using samples of the streamer's DNA (charging $40 per character). He introduced characters such as Mustache Jerma, Thanos Jerma, Muscle Jerma, Yeti Jerma, Fish Bastard, and the long-awaited Catboy Jerma.
Following his incantations, Bugleberry hopped in the cauldron himself to do a hot tub stream. This was in reaction to the many hot tub streams on Twitch in early 2021, which were quite popular because pretty lady in water equals money. This stream also marked a turning point in the relationship between Bugleberry and the community. From now on, he was considered an essential character whose popularity skyrocketed.
JermAwards 2022[]
Bugleberry appeared in the JermAwards 2022, where he was supposed to do a cooking show. However, the planned cooking show couldn't be started due to The Extinguisher hacking the stream, and Jerma begged Bugleberry to cast magic to fix the stream. Bugleberry reluctantly began to cast dark magic after using ketchup to create a demonic rune on the table, and sacrificing all of Jerma's Christmas presents to it, however he was sucked in through a portal to hell in the process, causing Jerma's and The Extinguisher's streams to "merge", which would later be fixed by the arrival of Santa.
Bugleberry later appeared at the end of the stream, seemingly unharmed and having baked cookies for the JermAwards crew.
In the Ring[]
Jermania - Late Edition[]
B. F. Bugleberry made his JWF debut during the Jerma Rumble portion of Jermania - Late Edition. He didn't last very long in the Rumble, entering about halfway through as the 15th wrestler and being quickly eliminated by Bean Bag Sonic.
However, during the redo Rumble that followed, Bugleberry was doing amazing. He was the first wrestler to enter the ring and managed to stay for over ten minutes. This led right up until the time reset, before which he managed to snag a stunning six eliminations including Pinwheel, Bill Crazy, Bean Bag Sonic, Jerma Raptor, Sans, and Otto. As we all know, this version of the Rumble was reset thanks to the Green Screen, though it did show that Bugleberry has the makings of greatness in him.
Jermania 2020[]
B. F. Bugleberry returned for both Rumbles in Jermania 2020. In the first one, he managed to eliminate Wall Dad before being eliminated by his rival Bean Bag Sonic. In the encore Rumble, he hit Jerma right in the chest, driving him into a murderous rage that resulted in the eliminations of both Bugleberry and Chuck E. Cheese.
Jermania 2021[]
B. F. Bugleberry made his third appearance in the Rumble portion of Jermania 2021. Unfortunately, he had the disadvantage of entering at number one. Despite this, he managed to perform well in the match. He immediately eliminated Joe Biden, who lasted only 20 seconds in the ring. He then eliminated The Sunflower before being thrown out by Chris Redfield. He lasted 5 minutes and 41 seconds.

Trivia[]

Jerma's Dark Souls II character.
- Jerma's character in "Dark Souls 2 is Destroying Me!" bears a striking resemblance to B. F. Bugleberry, with Jerma even joking that his face looks like a rubber mask. Said video pre-dates Bugleberry by four years.
- When Bugleberry's pottery segment appeared on the Halloween 2019 stream, the viewership dropped by approximately 4,000 people.
- Jerma claims that Bugleberry's pottery segment cost $800. This may be due to the fact that he actually had to take pottery classes in order to know what he was doing, not to mention the cost of renting a pottery wheel, as he revealed during the 2019 JermAwards when the pottery segment won Worst Joke Taking 5+ Minutes to Set Up.
- Bugleberry eliminated a whopping 6 wrestlers during the redo Rumble in Jermania 2018. This is tied with Demon Lord Zeraxos and Homer Simpson for second-most eliminations in a single Rumble, with the Green Screen holding the current high score of 10 eliminations. If only the redo Rumble hadn't been interrupted, Bugleberry would be in the record books.
- In the "Bugleberry's Cauldron" stream, he describes the cauldron as "warm", despite being -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit). This may explain why he was burned so easily upon dipping his hand in the cauldron as it was bubbling, despite all other Jermas that were being created not being bothered by the heat.
- In the "Bugleberry's Cauldron" stream, he describes himself as being an "Undead Demon", which may explain his apparent ties to the supernatural.
- Bugleberry is a Pisces, according to the Sims 3 stream. His first wife was a firefighter who Bugleberry met after Bugleberry's oven caught on fire. They had 1 child together, a boy named Cello.
- Bugleberry was played by Yame[6] in the JermAwards 2022.
- Bugleberry reportedly attended MIT.
- Bugleberry's voice is based on Cap'n Crunch
