The Giant Enemy Spider is a large robotic spider from the "Next Car Game" prototype for the racing game Wreckfest. It is allegedly the secret boss battle of the game. It is the ancestor of all the Giant Enemies.

History

Silly Putty Car Circus

The Giant Enemy Spider spent most of its time pounding the ground waiting for Jerma and other AI cars to go under the feet to get crushed. After a while, Jerma told everyone that it was the secret boss of the game and entered into battle with it. He proceeded to fire dozens of "rebars" (what seems to be metal bars) at the poor robotic spider. The spider is later seen to be okay though, and is still dancing and stomping its feet.

When Jerma was shooting "rebar" at the spider, which was doing absolutely nothing to it, he beatboxed its boss battle theme song:

• Its name is a reference to the "giant enemy crab" meme from Sony's E3 2006 presentation.
• At some point in time, the Giant Enemy Spider evolved from a gigantic robot into a giant Minecraft spider, it is unknown if this serves as evolution or a retcon.
• The theme song Jerma beatboxed is a melody from Pokémon games. The melody appears in both the Johto trainer battle theme from Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, and the battle theme for Team Aqua and Team Magma in the games Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Sapphire, and Pokémon Emerald.
• The Giant Enemy Spider seems to have multiple offsprings: The Small Enemy Spiders, that appeared in different forms on different occasions.
• The Giant Enemy Spider can now be fought in a modification for Friday Night Funkin'.
