- "GGGGGAS, GAS!"
- ―Jigsaw's not most said word in the movies
Billy the Puppet, often referred to as Jigsaw or Saw, is a puppet from the Saw franchise. It is used by serial killer John Kramer to communicate with his test subjects, delivering recorded messages about the trials they will face.
History[]
Origin[]
Jigsaw first appeared as a character when Jerma streamed several games from the Saw: The Video Game series, taking upon a life of his own when Jerma began imitating his own rendition of Jigsaw with a voice filter. This version of Jigsaw was much less intimidating, often checking in on his subjects out of concern and occasionally showing up drunk during his monologues. He occasionally had trouble while laying out his instructions, repeating his speeches as if they were voicemails.
House Flipper[]
Jigsaw became a Jerma bit during one of his many House Flipper streams, wherein he decided to make a Saw-inspired trap house. Jerma put on a voice filter that sounded like Jigsaw's and made up instructions about how to survive said traps. The punishments for failing many of these traps was for the room to be filled with deadly "GAS", a voiceline which Jerma sampled and played repeatedly throughout the bit.
Jigsaw would later give Jerma a tour through his trap house, explaining the various trials that any hypothetical victims would be put through. This included a room requiring one to win a staring contest with a mirror, a room filled with sharp implements, a room that requires you to fold shirts perfectly like in Old Navy, an off-limits mancave, and an empty closet. The final trial turned out to be a trap, locking Jerma into a disgusting bathroom exploiting his childhood phobia of bugs, with a toilet rigged to fill the room with gas if he vomited into it. Jerma failed to withstand the assault of smelly smells, puking into the toilet and eventually succumbing to deadly gas. He was, however, able to successfully sell the house afterward.
Slime Rancher / Rubik's Cube[]
On February 13th, 2021, during a Slime Rancher stream, Jigsaw gave Jeremy Elbertson the task of solving a Rubik's Cube in five minutes, with the opportunity to pay off some of his exorbitant debt if he was successful. To do so, he linked him to a specially designed website, which displayed a counter counting down from $500,000. The sooner Jerma solved it, the more money would be taken off the debt. However, Jigsaw made an unusual mistake, as he forgot to leave a Rubik's Cube with Jeremy. The two had an awkward chat about it, and after it became apparent that the test was impossible, Jigsaw allowed Jerma to leave.
A while later, Jigsaw sent another test to Jeremy, this time in the form of a new webpage. In it, Jigsaw apologized for failing to provide a Rubik's Cube, starting a new countdown going down from $500,000,000 instead. Additionally, a working virtual Rubik's Cube was provided for Jerma to solve. Although Jigsaw attempted to help Jerma solve the puzzle, frankly spoiling him with a fully charged iPad loaded with the first 5 seasons of SpongeBob, a bed, fresh breakfast, and free housing for months, Jerma failed miserably anyway.
After Jigsaw's extensive hospitality, and the passage of several hours with little to no progress on the Rubik's Cube, Jerma asked that Jigsaw drop a live grenade down into his room through a PVC pipe to end his suffering. Jigsaw reluctantly agreed, unpinning the grenade, but as Jigsaw was searching for music to play to make Jerma's death appropriately dramatic, he failed to realize he was still holding the live grenade. As Jerma waited for death, the grenade exploded, apparently killing Jigsaw instantly and leaving Jerma trapped with no hope of escape.[1]
With his Jermania 2021 participation he proved to be perfectly fine and alive however.
BeamNG.drive[]
Jigsaw returned in Jerma's BeamNG.drive Stream on 18th may 2022, where he set someone named "Steve" trapped inside a moving bus.[2] It was Steve's task to not let the bus go under 40 mp/h or otherwise Jigsaw would hide his clippers so that Steve has to buy new ones everytime he visits a store. When Steve crashed the bus, Jigsaw was very concerned about him but was glad to find out he was okay. He shortly afterwards became angry, when Steve drove on the wrong side of the road, which Jigsaw claimed to cancel his plan, and when Steve got the bus stuck in the middle of the road. He then ordered Steve to call an Uber to drive him according to the test. Realising Steve is not able to do anything, Jigsaw ended the call by hanging up.
Afterwards he trapped someone else named "David" (possibly the David, who Jerma stole the Xbox from) inside the bus and payed other people 15 - 20 thousand dollars to crash their car into the bus.[3] It was David's task to survive these crashes, but Jigsaw had to restart the test, because the other drivers crashed their cars before Jigsaw could finish his introduction of the plan. The 2nd time he used an AI to drive the other cars into David's bus to kill him.[4] It was revelead, that the AI Cars are fueled with GGGGAS and that it was David himself, who programmed them. He failed the test shortly afterwards by getting pinned by two AI Cars.
In The Ring[]
Jermania 2020[]
Jigsaw appeared briefly as Billy the Puppet in the first Rumble of Jermania 2020. He was quickly eliminated after only 16 seconds by The Pencil (likely because he's a flimsy little puppet) making him the 4th quickest elimination in a JWF event.
Jermania 2021[]
Jigsaw had a 2nd appearance as Billy the Puppet in the first Tagteam match of Jermania 2021, when he teamed up with The Horror to form the Team Jerma Horror against Team Resident Evil (Chris Redfield and Lady Dimitrescu). He did a better job than last time but had no chance against the supernatural powers of Lady Dimitrescu, which lead to his 2nd defeat and thus the loss of the team match.

Trivia[]
- Jerma's performance as Jigsaw was used in Vinny's VR Holiday Special in a bathroom boobytrap with a similar premise.
- Both websites were created by Discord-User stick#0391. They also created and run the Debt-Tracker-Website, as well as the Jerma Soundboard. You can see a list of all their Jerma-Websites here.
- They created a more elaborate sequel to the Rubik's Cube site with a challenge for Jerma to play Bop-It. Unfortunately, links were disabled in Jerma’s chat before it could be sent to him.
